Minimalist kitchen design
"A place of creation and connection, the kitchen is the heart of any home. Filled with cooking utensils and a constant point of call for friends and family, it's a room that's often seen yet is partial to clutter".
That's why Melbourne designer Chris Connell designed a space with minimal fuss that also makes for a bold statement.
The core palette
Chris lets the organic beauty of nature shine through, using a complementary Laminex palette. In this kitchen, he pairs subtle texture of timber and stone against the bold curved copper feature.
Warm timber tones
The Laminex Delana Oak cabinetry adds subtle warmth, while the use of neutral colours, Laminex Alpine Mist and Laminex White, for the interior cabinetry acts as a highlight for the design elements within.
Highlight and contrast with copper
"I selected Laminex Delana Oak for the integrated kitchen wall cabinetry as a natural backdrop to the striking island bench".
Chris used Laminex Copper Brush to make a statement, before completing the look with the addition of a Laminex Crema Venato benchtop.
